We host a public PvE Alpha 21 server, and a public PvE v1.0 experimental server (switch to the latest_experimental branch to join).
How to join?
- Switch to the correct branch by right-clicking your game in Steam’s game list -> Properties -> Betas -> Beta Participation dropdown list
- For alpha 21, this is either public or alpha21.2
- For v1.0, this is latest_experimental
- Within the game, search for ‘DomiNATION’ and you should be able to find it.
- Alternatively, you can join by typing the following in the direct join option in-game:
- For Alpha 21: 7dtd-a21.domination-gaming.com:26000
- For v1.0 (latest_experimental): 7dtd-r1.domination-gaming.com:26020
Are there wipes?
The servers are wiped every ‘odd’ month on the 28th, around 10 AM UTC. The wipe schedule is as follows:
- January 28th
- March 28th
- May 28th
- July 28th
- September 28th
- November 28th
Are there mods?
We run a couple of server-side mods; you don’t need any modifications on the client side in order to join. These mods increase backpack size, improve the HUD, increases stack sizes, and show HP bars above zombies.
What will happen to the alpha 21 server now that there is v1.0?
The alpha 21 server will be up until people stop playing. After v1.0 is released, you’ll have to switch to the alpha21.2 branch to keep playing on that server.
