Admin Tribes

As this has became a topic lately. I figured this should be brought up If an admin is in a tribe with non admin people they shouldnt have the admin tag on the tribe, it is an unfair advantage as it gives the non admin people certain perks and bonus. A great example of this as i recently heard that a non admin person stating they didnt have to farm anymore as the admin in the tribe just spawns in all the materials needed…… this is strictly in my opinion is an abuse of power. if an admin wishes to play with friends that are not an admin (completely agree with this) that tribe should not have an admin tag as all people in that tribe are not admins. i have seen in chat people asking for admin help then seeing people in a tribe with a admin tag and get frustrated because they cant get any help for certain issues. Having non admin people in a admin tribe is misleading to new players that dont know the community. It is my suggestion that if an admin wishes to have the admin tag on a tribe it should be filled with only Admins. This is normally the case across the entire ark community.

    since this was posted awhile ago and i wish to have all the information posted. The admin spawning was dealt with and the admin team did reach out to me

    In addition to this, I’ve seen players with the admin tag giving out genuinely bad advice just to troll players. It’s a really bad look.

    You guy’s say all these says (obviously personally coming after my tribe) yet ignore all the good we do. ie, helping people tame, killing alphas and wyverns when they attack people. Get over yourselves guys its just a game.

    wow tenny to be completely frank this was NOT EVEN CLOSE TO just your tribe.

    I have noticed this over the time i have been on the cluster and thought i would speak my mind. But hey if you think its all about you then be my guest obviously you need the attention

    This is a really good point to bring up. Having 4 or 5 admin tribes. Is not really fair the server is not going to be open to transfers which only hurts the Pat members that are grinding because we do not have and Admin spawning in all of the goodies

      no i get this its just a suggestion. i mean there is also a rule about impersonating an admin which anyone in a admin tribe is technically doing. i am just being logical about all of this

        Forgive me for the bluntness, but there is a stark difference between logic and grievance in the guise of logic. I know nearly every admin and the ones I am aware made such comments were either being sarcastic or exaggerating what they do. I’ve never seen an admin actually crap out a ton of cheated resources or structures for the benefit of non-admin. Unfortunately, people latch on like lampreys to even sarcastic comments. While an Admin may make an error in tact, I know the team here well enough to say they wouldn’t condone the behavior people here are so recklessly accusing them of, nor would they engage in such behavior for the benefit of non-admin. The commentary, unfortunately, is highly indicative of players who have either never been moderators/admin or were trained by an excessively rigid and rote admin team elsewhere. I don’t even have to look to guarantee the concerns are overblown and the accusations overreaching. However, I do look, and most of the Admin will tell you when shit goes down I’m in their DMs pestering them, discussing problems and coming up with solutions. Again, I apologize for the bluntness but every concern raised in this Suggestion is vastly overblown and reads more like angry fingerpointing than actual helpful input.

          EURGIGA i would like to point out firstly that i completely respect your point of view and i am not here trying to point fingers.

          There was a issue with an admin (no names) which was dealt with and corrected and yes you can ask the admins if you wish.

          As for the the tribe issue it was more recently displayed with the coming of Fjord. I have personally seen new players given wrong information and also ask for help but unfortantly the general public does not know all of the admins and only see the admin tag in the tribe and expect each member of that tribe to be an admin.

          I have outlined above to try and prevent admins from getting a negative image to just leave the admin out of the tribe name. That is the very basic of this conversation if you really look at it.

          i am always up for a open discussion if you wish to have one maybe something got lost in translation.

    As this is an admin policy, we will speak about it in our monthly meeting. It is not something the community would need to vote on.
