Patreon supporters can play together on DomiNATION’s whitelisted Valheim servers. In order to join, follow the following instructions to get whitelisted before attempting to join the servers:
- Become a Patron of DomiNATION Gaming
- Make sure you are whitelisted on our whitelisted Patreon Ark servers, as the same whitelist is used for Valheim. You can follow instructions here.

How to join from within the game?
- After character selection, click the “Add Server” button in the “Join Game” tab.
- Then it asks for an IP Address, enter 148.72.177.79:2456 or valheim-01.domination-gaming.com:2456
- Select the server in the list, and click “Connect”. Even though the server shows a red cross, it should work.
- After a brief loading screen, you should be prompted for a password, enter: DomiNATION

When I join the game, it says I’m banned
Don’t worry, this is the game trying to tell you that you’re not whitelisted. Make sure you are whitelisted on our Patreon Ark servers as described above. It could take a few minutes before whitelist changes are propagated to Valheim.
I want to team up
Be sure to drop it in the #valheim Discord channel. There’s also a voice channel dedicated to the game there.
I need an admin
Sadly, the game doesn’t offer much functionality for admins at the moment, other than banning or kicking players. Try getting help from a fellow player!
Server Restarts / Updates
Restarts are scheduled every night, at 10 AM UTC. That’s 5 AM EST in the winter, and 6 AM EST in the summer. The server also auto-updates whenever an update is detected on Steam. Restarts are automatically performed without warning, since there is no RCON support (yet), so there is no way of warning in-game that a restart is incoming.
